ATERAS Recognized by Gartner as ‘Cool Tool Vendor’ for Application Strategy, Governance & Overhaul

ATERAS announced today at the Gartner IT Expo in Orlando, Florida, that Gartner recognizes ATERAS for the eav suite of products as a “Cool Tool Vendor”. ATERAS is a leading provider of solutions for legacy migration and modernization. The ATERAS eav suite (eav and eavRPM) of tools was designed to preserve business critical applications while reducing costs and increasing productivity.
eavRPM (eav for Rapid Program Modernization) allows mainframe developers to generate new business web-based applications in native C# or Java, without knowing C# or Java. COBOL and Adabas Natural developers can now copy and paste mainframe maps, business rules and other source code from mainframe languages to web pages quickly. Mainframe analysts and developers can create customized, high powered and well documented applications in C# or Java that utilize HTML or Active Server Pages (ASP) Java Server Pages (JSP) presentation layer.
